Rapid Metagenome Sequencing with the G4

Metagenomic next-generation sequencing (mNGS), also known as shotgun sequencing, is considered a “hypothesis-free” approach that enables researchers to identify potential pathogens in a heterogeneous mixture of microbes, through a sensitive and unbiased method. Traditional methods of pathogen identification, such as culture-based methods, can be time-and labor-intensive, resulting in greater delays to prevent spread of diseases caused by specific microbes and advance treatments and therapies. The G4 Sequencing Platform is addressing these challenges by enabling researchers to generate high-quality mNGS results daily with more operational efficiency and lower cost.

Unmatched Speed and Operational Flexibility, Plus Powerful Resolution

The G4 Sequencing Platform delivers high-quality mNGS data for high resolution of complex microbial communities and de novo genome assembly. Unique platform flexibility enables cost-efficient sequencing with unmatched turnaround times.

  • Rapid SBS delivers highly accurate reads with single-day turnaround
  • Unbiased and reproducible quantification of low and high GC microorganisms
  • Plug-and-play compatibility with standard microbial bioinformatics tools
